Potential effects of climate change of avian reproductive physiology
This research aims to study how the breeding seasons of birds may be affected by climate change. The effect of temperature on reproductive physiology and how it controls the annual cycle of gonadal maturation, regression and moult will be investigated in captive birds exposed to experimental changes in day length and temperature.
