Analysis of Behavioural Plasticity in Mice
The main goal of the proposed research is to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying learning, memory formation and some neuropsychiatric diseases. Genetically altered mice will be tested in behavioural paradigms to measure several forms of memory. Moreover, motor and cognitive tests will be applied to mouse models for addictive behaviour, Huntington’s and Parkinson’s diseases.
