Analysis of Glutamate and GABA Receptor Channels
Our research is aimed at understanding the many and varied molecular mechanisms involved in the functioning of amino acid receptor channels (both glutamate and GABA) that mediate synaptic transmission in identified types of central neurons. In addition, we are interested in elucidating fundamental mechanisms of the transmission process itself.
