Transgenic models of human and bovine TSE disease.
TSE diseases are fatal, and have a devastating effect on the individual and their families. No prevention or cure is available for those who contract disease. Scrapie is prevalent in sheep worldwide, and BSE has caused massive suffering to livestock and economic loss to farmers in the UK.
