Inhibition of Intimal Hyperplasia by Immunosuppressive Agents
This project aims to help prolong the survival of transplanted kidneys by trying to identify means of reducing the side effects of drugs commonly used to mitigate renal transplant rejection. Renal transplantation is universally regarded as the best form of renal replacement therapy. In the long term transplantation is less expensive than kidney dialysis and gives a far better quality of life to patients.
