Wound Healing

The purpose of this project is to use animals with small carefully controlled surface cuts as models of normal and cleft palate and also of wound healing and scar formation in order to identify mechanisms that can be altered and thus reduce scar formation associated with cleft palate, or arising from burns or accidents.
