The genetic basis of a number of inherited diseases in dogs, cats and horses
We are applying for a project licence to permit us to draw small blood samples from dogs, cats and horses in the general population. These samples will enable us to investigate the genetic basis of a number of inherited diseases and to identify specific chromosomal abnormalities associated with certain cancers
