Genetic Control of Apoptosis and Cancer
Genetics determines susceptibility to developing cancer, and cancer can be the result of a range of genetic defects. To understand how these defects can result in cancer, and how we can develop therapies to combat cancer, we are creating and using strains of genetically altered mice that model this type of human disease.
