Wildlife Disease Epidemiology
This programme will investigate infectious diseases of wildlife. Relatively little is known of the role of diseases in wildlife conservation. This work will find out how diseases influence the birth and death rates of free-living animals, and determine which pathogens might hinder the successful reintroduction of endangered captive-bred wild mammals.
