Role of Xrcc2 and Xrcc3 DNA repair genes in a DNA repair gene
The objectives are:
1. To use an existing conditional knock-out mouse r in (a) skin tumorigenesis and (b) maintenance of chromosomal ends (telomeres).
2. To generate a conditional knock-out of a second HR gene in the mouse and to evaluate the effects of its loss on chromosome inheritance (a) and telomere/chromosome stability (b).
