487: The regulation of platelet function in thrombosis
The basis of this project is to increase understanding of the complex molecular mechanisms that regulate the functions of platelets. Characterisation of platelet regulation in healthy blood will lead to the identification of new strategies to prevent and treat thrombosis, through the development of more effective drugs.
