512: Studies of the spread and treatment of cancer
Overall, this five year project will provide important information on how and why cancer cells spread in the body, and from that information it is anticipated that new strategies will be developed for combating the process of metastasis, which will be of benefit for patients (both human and animal) who may be stricken with this disease.
