386: Acute Toxicology-Chemicals
This Project Licence covers the testing of chemicals and chemical preparations (products formed from mixtures of chemicals), in order to determine their toxicity following a single or a small number of exposures. This toxicology testing is essential to satisfy the legal requirements imposed by the UK Government, the member countries of the EU and most of the other major countries of the world, before these products can be manufactured, transported or marketed.
