387: Tagging bream in the River Witham
This project aims to assess the bream population use and dependence on the delph’s and side channels off the main river. To identify important habitat, so these areas can be protected and recreated elsewhere as habitat improvement projects. And to ascertain how strict bream shoals are, what level of mixing takes place in the population and how different shoals behave. In order to help manage, develop and improve this freshwater fishery.
