353: The Role Cell Communication and Migration in Xenopus Development

A human embryo starts off as a single cell after the egg is fertilised by the sperm. As this cell divides it develops into a multicellular organism containing lots of different types of cells, which give rise to the heart, eye, muscle, bone and other types of tissue. We are interested in how these different tissues arise from that single cell during development.
