138: Geographic variation in host-parasite interaction
This project aims to increase our understanding of the impact that parasites have on hosts in natural populations, whether this causes hosts in different populations to diverge from each other genetically and phenotypically and whether this divergence contributes to adaptive radiation. Adaptive radiation is a poorly understood evolutionary process in which populations in different environments diverge through natural selection, thus creating biodiversity (species).
