154: Bone tissue engineering
This project licence has been established to allow development of a bone tissue- engineering programme using selected human bone progenitor cells. Building on extensive and exhaustive basic science work this licence aims to utilise a tissue engineering strategy to develop conditions for human bone cell growth on appropriate biodegradable scaffolds and the development of protocols for the modification of the scaffolds to promote and augment bone formation bone formation
