334-07: Electrical activity in the basalo-cortical system in the mammal
The aim of the project will be to utilise electrophysiological techniques mainly on brain slices from normal and genetically modified rodents to study the cellular mechanisms of generation of rhythmic activity in sub cortical areas and how the properties of these neurons are perturbed in genetically altered mouse models relevant to Alzheimer’s disease.
