109-07: Cancer prevention and therapeutic strategies
The work within our department is involved with the development of new treatments for cancer. The programme of work involves two, themes, first, the improvement of established vaccine protocols for melanoma (skin cancer) and, second, the identification and development of new drugs which may be of use in the treatment of a number of cancers.
