117-07: Transgenic studies of genes involved in human cancer
The scientific benefit from this work will be a deeper understanding of how cancer occurs in via chromosomal translocations in leukaemias, sarcomas of children and prostate cancer in adult males. The work will provide a means to isolate and study the cancer stem cell population.
