119-07: The role of pH regulation in oncogenesis and cancer therapy
This project is focussed on the investigation of the role of intracellular pH regulation in carcinogenesis and identification of potential treatments for cancer, which in 2004 resulted in the death of ca. 150,000 people, representing 26% of all deaths in the UK.
