584-07: Cerebroprotective strategies in experimental models
In this project we will investigate growth of new blood vessels in adult tissues. We aim to learn more about the molecular and cellular factors that control this process, and how we might harness these factors to regulate the process for therapeutic purposes, for example in the brain damage that follows a stroke.
