Innate and adaptive immune mechanisms in disease
This project uses laboratory mice: - normal inbred strains, transgenics/knockouts from other collaborating labs, transgenics/knockouts made by ourselves under this licence. They will be used in a series of immunological experiments to look at two key research areas: 1) the interactions of cells and regulatory mechanisms contributing to pathogenesis in autoimmune diseases and 2) the nature of these mechanisms in the response to bacterial infection
