HOSDB provides physical security training to a variety of customers with the police service, the military, other Government departments and representatives from the national infrastructure.
Recent world events have increased the demand for training in physical security. At its state-of-the-art training centre in West Sussex, HOSDB provides a range of practical courses focussing on security technology and protective measures.
The courses provide students with practical training that is simply not available elsewhere. The style of training is very hands-on, allowing delegates to learn about and view products before testing them. For example, all the training rooms are linked to cameras in the grounds so delegates can carry out live CCTV audits in different lighting conditions in order to test the performance of the cameras.
