i-LIDS is the government's benchmark for video based detection systems (VBDS). It is a video library which has been developed to help evaluate VBDS to meet government requirements.

The datasets 
i-LIDS datasets have been developed in partnership with the Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (new window). The datasets are used to help academic and commercial organisations develop and test the performance of their systems. These systems can be submitted for independent evaluation against non-public datasets at HOSDB.
All the datasets are distributed openly to promote innovation throughout the VBDS sector.
