Police driver training
The police have asked HOSDB to develop a low-cost driving simulator that used readily available and inexpensive computer equipment and software to assist with the training of police drivers. The requirements of the simulator have evolved and the system being developed now incorporates many state-of-the-art features, including a wrap-around screen. It will save money, be a realistic training aid for police drivers and provide improved consistency and effectiveness of training.
